About Us

 

Ítchik daluúom! Thank you for visiting the Crow Language Consortium Bookstore!

EST. in 2014, The Crow Language Consortium is a collective of Crow schools, colleges, and educators that are working to preserve the Crow language to ensure we can pass it on to future generations. We work to support Crow learners and teachers by developing language materials such as textbooks, dictionaries, flashcards, posters and more; by providing access to apps and multimedia; and by organizing intensive teacher training and workshops. Today, we are working with many Crow speakers to certify them as teachers in best-practice teaching methodologies.

We also work to educate the general public about Crow language loss and preservation, and assist our Crow communities in finding financial support necessary to maintain healthy and stable language programs. The Crow Language Consortium is spearheaded by Crow Nation, Little Big Horn College, St. Charles Mission School and The Language Conservancy.

The CLC Bookstore is managed by The Language Conservancy, and is located at 1720 N Kinser Pike, Bloomington, Indiana.

 

FAQ

Q: How can I view the status of my order?

A: Go to the Customer Service, Account Information page. This page lists all your orders. Click the date of the order whose status you wish to view.

Q: What are your shipping costs?

A: You can view an estimate of shipping costs by viewing your cart. However, final shipping costs will be displayed on the Invoice you see before confirming your order. Call or email us if you have special shipping needs.

Q: How do I place a bulk order for my school or business?

A: The most efficient course of action would be to email your purchase order form to customersupport@languageconservancy.org. Bulk order discounts are also available in store.

Q: How do I learn more about The Crow Language Consortium?

Return Policy

You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

 

Shipping

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Depending on the shipping provider you choose, shipping date estimates may appear on the shipping quotes page.

Shipping is done by media mail, which ships from 3-7 days.

International shipping typically takes 1-3 weeks.
